Before you introduce your own, let me go first.

We have four cats. None of them were planned. All of them were necessary.

Maja and Lili, the two who started it all.
Found them as kittens on a road in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night.
Someone had clearly taken care of them before leaving them there.
We had no cats before that night. We had two by morning.

Lucky, found her in a garbage bag inside a trash can at a highway rest stop while we were dropping off some bulky waste.
She had cat flu as a baby and can barely see.
She's named Lucky for obvious reasons.
She investigates every new package that enters this apartment, with or without functioning eyes.

Sunny, the one who required a drive through all of Germany at night to get her.
She has ataxia in her hind legs and came to us in bad shape.
That was a while ago. She walks now. Wobbly, but she walks.
She also figured out how to tell us when she needs the toilet, which impressed everyone in this house.

More on all of them in Cat Stories.

Now show me yours. Drop a photo, tell us the name, and how they ended up with you.
